Who is responsible
The operator of this site, is the data controller. Write to [email protected] about anything on this page.
What is collected, and why
- Your email address and name, if you create an account or join the mailing list. Used to sign you in, and to send the weekly puzzle that comes with an account - the signup form says so, and one click in your settings stops it. The legal basis is the contract for an account, and your consent for the mailing list.
- Your child's age band and your timezone, if you give them. Used only to decide which cards to show and when to send them. No other detail about your child is asked for, and none should be sent.
- Which cards you save, so the saved list works.
Cookies
A session cookie keeps you signed in. It is strictly necessary, so it needs no consent and cannot be switched off without breaking the site.
No other cookies are set. There is no analytics on this site.
Who else sees it
Nobody is sold anything. Data is processed by the services that run the site: hosting, email delivery@if (config('site.google_analytics_id')), and Google Analytics@endif. Some of those operate outside the EU under the safeguards their agreements provide.
How long it is kept
Account data until you delete the account. Mailing list entries until you unsubscribe, after which the record of the unsubscribe is kept so you are not added again by accident.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected, have it deleted, or object to it being used — write to [email protected]. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe. If you think something has gone wrong and we have not fixed it, you can complain to the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.
Children
This site is for grown-ups to use with a child, not for children to use on their own. No account is intended for a child and nothing here asks for a child's name, photograph or anything else identifying.
